Ornellaia what a powerful wine with 51% Cabernet Sauvignon 32% Merlot 11% Cabernet Franc and 6% Petit Verdot it is made like the classic Bordeaux blend. The wine is a concentrated experience of fruit flavours, balsamic notes and a velvety, polished tannin structure. We currently have several vintages of Ornellaia in the shop - please also note the artist edition L`Incanto from 2012, which is designed by a different artist each year. We have a single bottle of this - so it's worth being quick for this rarity! Every year, Ornellaia commissions a recognised artist to interpret the specific vintage character of each harvest and design a label for it. These labels are strictly limited to a maximum of 111 bottles - an absolute rarity. The bottles are loved by wine and art collectors and some of them are auctioned off for good causes - in this case to support artists. We think it's a great project and a great idea!
