The small family winery cultivates its Riesling grapes on plots located in the VDP-classified first vineyard sites Graacher Dompropst and Graacher Himmelreich in Graach and Wehlener Sonnenuhr in Wehlen. These vineyards consist of ungrafted vines up to 100 years old, situated on steep slopes of Devonian blue slate. The Graach plots on the estate face south to south-west and are bathed in sunlight throughout the day. This, combined with the cool climate typical of the Moselle, provides ideal growing conditions for Riesling Grapes.
