Es befindet sich seit 1898 in Familienbesitz, und heute sind mehr als fünf Generationen in dem Unternehmen tätig. Die Familie Janoueix besitzt mehrere Châteaux in der Region Bordeaux: sieben in Saint-Émilion, drei in Pomerol und zwei in Castillon Côtes de Bordeaux. Das wichtigste Weingut ist Château Haut Sarpe, ein Grand Cru Classé der Klassifizierung Saint-Émilion von 1955. Es verfügt über einige der ältesten Rebstöcke in Saint-Émilion und umfasst 21 Hektar (52 Acres) mit Merlot und Cabernet Franc. Es befindet sich seit 1930 im Familienbesitz.
