Domaine de L'A is the biodynamic Castillon vineyard run by Stéphan Derenoncourt, the superstar of right bank oenology. With its 11.5 hectares, this small and fine vineyard is in the top range and has been producing the second best wine in Castillon for years, after the world-class wine from Clos Louie. Although the estate works biodynamically, this certificate is not mentioned on the label, as is the case with many wineries!
