Castello del Terriccio 2011 Tassinaia Toscana IGT MAGNUM 1,50L 13,5% Vol. Alc.

The Rosso Tassinaia from Castello del Terriccio was grown in the vineyards around the Castello, which date back to the Middle Ages. This Rosso is made from Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes and fermentation takes place for a week at a constant temperature of 29 °C. The must is macerated for two weeks. The must is also macerated for 2 weeks. The wine then matures for 16 to 18 months in tonneaux before being bottled. The Tassinaia is characterised by a strong purple-red colour. The beautiful berry flavours are accompanied by a pleasant and spicy tobacco note. It presents itself on the palate with a delicate acidity and a pleasant tannin structure. This wine goes perfectly with grilled meat and braised game.
