Château Maucaillou is a winery in the Moulis-en-Médoc appellation, north of Margaux, in the Médoc region to the north of Bordeaux, on the left bank of the Gironde estuary. The vineyard produces red cuvées from Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, with smaller quantities of Petit Verdot and some Cabernet Franc. Maucaillou's Moulis vineyard is considered the oldest in the Médoc, with records of titles and ownership dating back to the 15th and 16th centuries. Château Maucaillou ist ein Weingut in der Appellation Moulis-en-Médoc, nördlich von Margaux, in der Region Médoc im Norden von Bordeaux, am linken Ufer der Gironde-Mündung. Das Weingut produziert rote Cuvées aus Cabernet Sauvignon und Merlot, mit geringeren Mengen an Petit Verdot und etwas Cabernet Franc. Der Moulis-Weinberg von Maucaillou gilt als der älteste im Médoc, mit Aufzeichnungen über Titel und Besitz, die bis ins 15. und 16. Jahrhundert zurückreichen. Die Geschäftsgeschichte des Anwesens reicht bis ins Jahr 1871 zurück, als die Keller von der Familie Petit-Laroche négociant erbaut wurden.
