1994 Chateau La Tour de Mons, Margaux CRU BOURGEOIS 0,75L 12,5% Vol. Alc.

Château La Tour de Mons is a Bordeaux vineyard in Margaux, known for its red wines made from Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. It was categorised as Cru Bourgeois Supérieur in the Cru Bourgeois classification and its various amendments until the category was shelved in 2008. The estate is a 58 hectare (143 acre) vineyard located in the north of Margaux, near the banks of the Gironde estuary. It consists of around 61 per cent Merlot, 33 per cent Cabernet Sauvignon, three per cent Petit Verdot and three per cent Cabernet Franc. Both the "Grand Vin", Château La Tour de Mons, and the second wine, Marquis de Mons, largely reflect this ratio in their cuvées, although the Grand Vin tends to contain less Merlot (although still the dominant part of the cuvée) and more Cabernet Sauvignon.
