Château Phélan Ségur is a winery in the Saint-Estèphe region of the Médoc in the north of Bordeaux. The Grand Vin usually consists of 50 to 65 per cent Cabernet Sauvignon and the rest Merlot. It is considered one of the better vineyards that were not included in the Bordeaux classification of 1855. It belongs to the Union des Grand Crus de Bordeaux and is classified on the Place de Bordeaux in the category "Grand Crus Classés et assimilés (and equivalent crus)". It was classified as a Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel in 2003, but has not been part of this ranking since 2007.
