Interestingly, there is a German behind this very special winery - Jan Hendrik Erbach and Caroline Pobitzer are the people who have set themselves the goal of creating a unique Brunello. It is about working holistically with nature, appreciating the terroir and the Sangiovese Grosso - the grape of Brunello. At Pian dell'Orino, a strong reduction in yield means that one bottle is produced per vine. Imagine what an honour it is to drink this wine! Pian dell'Orino is an exclusive Brunello from the vineyard of the same name, for which we are happy to open the doors of our treasure trove. We are delighted to have this mature Brunello from 2010 in our shop!
