C. von Schubert`schen Schloßkellerei

The Maximin Grünhaus winery on the Ruwer is world-renowned, particularly for its three monopole vineyards. Abtsberg, Herrenberg and Bruderberg are wholly owned by the von Schubert family. This is extremely rare anywhere in the world. We currently have a wide selection of Riesling Spätlese and Auslese wines in our shop. You can also find dry Spätlese wines here, as well as the Superior Riesling – something truly special from Grünhaus.
The Abtsberg is the estate’s most renowned vineyard. Its subsoil consists mainly of bluish Devonian slate, which imparts a unique minerality to the wines. The wines from this 14-hectare vineyard are among the longest-lived in the world. In addition to Riesling, Pinot Noir is also grown at the ABTSBERG.
